Sergeant Has Retention Control Point Changed Back to 2015

A Staff Sergeant convicted by Court-Martial was reduced to Sergeant and her Retention Control Point (RCP) was changed to the RCP for a Sergeant E-5. DA G-1 informed her she was being discharged. Stockdale appealed to the ABCMR, arguing that DA G-1 misinterpreted the wrong regulation. With her discharge only months away, Stockdale called ABCMR, requested expedited processing, advocated on the Soldier's behalf, emailed a copy of the Appeal to the ABCMR in real time, explained how G-1 got it wrong, and why the Soldier should be retained. The next day, HRC changed her Retention Control Point back to 2015.
