GOMOR Filed Locally for 1 Day

A Warrant Officer received a General Officer Memorandum of Reprimand (GOMOR) and engaged Stockdale Army Law to write a rebuttal on an immediate basis. Stockdale and the Warrant Officer wanted a local filing, but the officer was PCS'ing in one week. A local filing would put the GOMOR in his local file for only one day. That seemed like a long shot. But the General Officer agreed. He directed that the GOMOR be filed in the officer's local file for one day. The next day the Warrant Officer PCS'ed and the GOMOR was destroyed.
